T-34/76 Model 1943 Recovered in Estonia in 2000

John sent me these photos of a T-34/76 Model 1943 that was recovered from the bottom of a lake in Estonia back in 2000. It is pretty amazing it was in such good condition after being underwater for 55 years. The tank is mis-identified as a T34/76A in the linked story.

Here are a few links that show that it is actually a T-34/76 Model 1943. This is what a "T-34/76A" would look like (see below). It’s actually properly known as T-34/76 Model 1940. Notice how the turret is shaped much differently, and how much shorter the gun barrel is.
