Windows ReadyBoost with 4GB Flash Drive

I bought a 4GB Lexar JumpDrive FireFly at Office Depot for my new Toshiba Satellite A135-4447 last night. Office Depot had it marked down to $75 with an additional $16 mail in rebate, plus I got an additional 5% off with my Office Depot Star Teacher Card.

My Toshiba only has 1GB of DDR2 RAM installed, which is marginal for Windows Vista. I am going to upgrade it to 2GB very soon, probably from NewEgg. They have 2GB DDR2 667 kits for $134.99.

In the meantime, Vista is noticeably more responsive with 4GB of ReadyBoost memory available.
