Windows Server 2008 Features and License Limits Revealed

Microsoft has more detailed information published about the different SKUs of Windows Server 2008 that was announced at TechEd IT Forum in Barcelona this week.

An interesting point is that they have raised the license limits on Windows Server 2008 Web Edition to four CPU sockets and 32GB of RAM (on the x64 Edition). This seems like a good platform for a low-cost cache server, (aka "Cheap Caching Layer") in the word of one of my bosses.
