SQL Server 2005 Build 3215 Lets You Manage Katmai Servers

Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2005 SP2 (Build 3215) lets you use the 2005 version SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to manage SQL Server 2008 (Katmai) servers. Older builds of SQL Server 2005 would not allow you to do that. This is a pretty useful fix, since you can now use your primary copy of SSMS to manage any Katmai servers that you may be testing.

This Microsoft KB article goes into more detail about the fixes included in CU5. This KB article lists all the post SP2 builds of SQL Server 2005.
