Ten Tips For Using Windows Server 2008 As Workstation OS

Microsoft’s Vijayshinva Karnure has good post up listing steps you can take to make Windows Server 2008 a little friendlier if you want to use it as a workstation OS. I have done a little testing with Windows Server 2008, and even on older hardware, it is very snappy. I think I will try installing it on my Toshiba laptop that I use for teaching (on a spare hard drive) and see how it works out.
