Kevin Cox from SQLCAT Presenting at the Denver SQL Server User’s Group On January 21, 2010

Kevin Cox, who is part of the SQLCAT Team at Microsoft, will be giving the presentation at this month’s Denver SQL Server User’s Group meeting. He will be talking about the largest deployments on SQL Server, how they scale, how they achieve high availability and disaster recovery.  The talk will also cover the hardware used in some of the projects.

I have known Kevin personally for about four years, and he is a great friend. He has been very helpful to NewsGator, and to many other companies and DBAs for quite some time. I am sure he will have a lot of interesting information to pass along during his talk.

The meeting will be held at Ameritech, which is located at:

7800 East Dorado Place, Suite 150
Greenwood Village, CO 80111

There should be a decent amount of good giveaways at this month’s meeting, so that is another reason to go this month. I hope to see lots of people there!
